On every one, all four legs run up in one piece to a timber top rail 1.6 m off the ground. That leaves about 80 cm of clear headroom above an 80 cm bed and about 110 cm above a 50 cm planter box. On the Wide, a centre rail runs down the middle of the top so a net stays up off your plants and strings have an anchor over both tubs.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt comes as the frame, with nothing on it, so you only pay for the cover you want. Each side is one flat face: the top rail and the board sit flush, framed by the legs. The long sides are 1320 mm between the legs, and the ends are 1100 mm on the Wide and 598 mm on the Large. The roll you need depends on the planting height:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e80 cm raised garden bed: a 900 mm roll. Hung from the top of the rail, it covers the 700 mm opening with 100 mm on the rail and 100 mm on the board.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e50 cm planter box: a 1200 mm roll, covering the 1000 mm opening the same way.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEither way there is solid timber to fix into at the top and the bottom, and an 1800 x 1200 mm reo sheet cuts down to fit a side.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eHow much room is there for plants to grow?\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\nThe top rail is 1.6 m off the ground on every size, so there is about 80 cm from the top of an 80 cm raised garden bed to the rail, and about 110 cm above a 50 cm planter box. The planter box gives taller crops the most room, and climbers can keep going up the sides and along the top.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWhat net should I use?\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\nA wildlife-safe one: white, knitted, with holes 5 mm or smaller when stretched. It keeps birds and bats off your fruit without trapping them. It is the rule in Victoria and good practice everywhere.
