Potting Bench Flat-Packed Kit
This versatile outdoor potting bench kit is designed to be your go-to workspace for gardening tasks. Whether you're potting plants, displaying potted beauties, or using it as a functional work surface, this bench fits seamlessly into your outdoor space.
Corrogarden’s Potting Bench Kits are Australian made and delivered Australia wide as partially assembled flat-packed kits (Bench top and slatted shelf are assembled, just bolt on the legs and add the optional wheels).
Storage Rack
A sturdy rack beneath the bench provides ample storage, keeping essentials like potting mix, tubs, hoses, watering cans, or garden tools neatly organised and within reach.
Multipurpose Design
Beyond gardening, this bench easily transitions into an outdoor table, a sideboard for serving, or even a BBQ station, perfect for entertaining. It’s also an ideal tray station for hosting, allowing you to move it around as needed to serve or store items.
Easy Outdoor Mobility
Optionally equipped with wheels, it rolls smoothly across your outdoor space, making it easy to relocate for tasks or stow away when not in use. This added flexibility allows you to position the bench wherever it’s most convenient, then tuck it out of sight when needed.

Drainage
Our plastic tubs incorporate semi-circular corrugated designs, each with 12mm drainage holes positioned at every corrugation. This structure ensures optimal drainage, helping prevent water buildup and promoting healthy root growth.
Drainage Capture Option: For added convenience, we offer a drainage capture add-on. This accessory collects any overflow and channels it away or directly into a watering can, making it easy to recycle or manage excess water.
Castors (Optional)
Outdoor castors are heavy duty with a combined capacity of 280kg (or 400kg for the large 41cm deep variations), with one end being fixed direction, and the other 360 degree swivel with brake - giving full and safe control to move your garden bed on any hard flat surface like a deck or on concrete.
Castors are intended for short distance movement on hard surfaces like decks, tiles, pavers and concrete.
Trellis & Pot Shelf
Constructed from rigid hot dipped galvanised 4mm steel in 200mm ribbed squares to provide grip for climbing plants.
Accessories are available as an option at checkout or click here.
Construction
Built to last, our garden beds are crafted from durable and sustainable ACQ-treated pine (Alkaline Copper Quaternary), completely arsenic-free. This high-quality timber is approved for use in Australian schools, childcare centres, and community gardens.
These wood garden beds have a bolted main frame and galvanized batten screws. Each screw boasts a shear strength of over 1,000kg, and even the smallest garden bed is fortified with more than 32 of these screws. Your Corrogarden is engineered to exceed standards, ensuring exceptional strength, longevity, and resistance to rust.

Caring for Your Garden Bed:
Your garden bed is built to last, even if left in it's natural state. treated pine is designed to resist decay and insects, and even without painting or sealing, it will stand up to the elements for many years
Natural Greying
All unsealed timber naturally greys over time, especially when exposed to UV light. This weathering process is natural and doesn’t affect the structural integrity of your garden bed.
Painting and Sealing
Optionally, painting or sealing your garden bed can extend its life further and keep it looking great. Here’s how to care for it:
1. Let the Timber Dry
The timber in your garden bed has been drying for at least three weeks before delivery, so it should be ready for sealing or painting.
If it feels damp, allow it to dry further in a shaded, airy spot for another week or so before starting.
2. Preparation is Key
Clean the surface to remove any dirt or treatment residues. A quick scrub with a brush and a hose is all you need (hosing will only wet the surface and won't reset the 3-week drying period).
For easier handling and a great finish, you can take the tub out of the frame before painting.
3. Choose Your Finish
- For painting: Use a primer and high-quality outdoor paint. Light colours are a great choice because they reflect sunlight and offer better UV protection.
- For sealing: Choose a water-repellent timber stain or sealant with UV protection. This keeps the natural look of the timber while adding durability.
Place your Raised Garden Bed on a Protective Surface
Although not essential, placing your garden bed on a surface that reduces direct contact with soil and wet ground—such as gravel, pavers, or a garden mat—can help prolong its lifespan by minimising exposure to ground moisture.
Even without additional finishing, your treated pine garden bed is designed to weather the years. With painting, sealing, and thoughtful placement, you can enhance its longevity, protect it from the elements, and customise its look to suit your space.
