Add a Trellis & Pot Shelf Accessory to your Raised Garden Bed
Trellis
A trellis is a vertical structure designed to support climbing plants as they grow. It helps plants like tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, and peas to grow upwards, saving space and encouraging healthy growth by providing the support they need to thrive. In addition, a trellis can serve as a natural privacy screen, shielding your garden or your home from the sun and wind. It also creates a beautiful wall of colour when adorned with flowering vines such as bougainvillea, climbing roses, or hardenbergia, making it an ideal feature for decks or patios, where you can enjoy both added privacy and a visually stunning backdrop.
Benefits
- Maximised growing area: A trellis increases your growing space without taking up additional ground area, making the most of your garden bed’s footprint.
- Increased access to sunlight: Plants receive more even exposure to sunlight, promoting healthier growth.
- Improved ventilation: Growing plants vertically allows for better air circulation, reducing the risk of mould and other fungal issues.
Pot Shelf
Further increase your growing area with the pot shelf, perfect for keeping your favourite herbs, flowers, or small vegetables close at hand. It’s ideal for hanging plants like cherry tomatoes, adding both practicality and a decorative touch to your garden. By utilising vertical layers, the pot shelf helps you maximise the overall capacity of your garden bed while enhancing its appearance with potted plants such as basil, mint, or thyme.
What to Grow
The trellis is ideal for supporting climbing plants such as tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, and peas. For a colourful display, flowering vines like bougainvillea, jasmine, and hardenbergia can transform your garden into a vibrant and beautiful space.
Available with Your Garden Bed Order Only
This accessory is available only with the purchase of a garden bed and is not retrofittable to existing beds. The trellis is an extension of the large garden bed and comes as a single piece, ensuring stability and ease of installation. It is designed to perfectly integrate with your garden bed, offering both style and functionality.
