The 80cm beds put the planting height at your waist: no bending, no kneeling, no digging. On braked castors the whole bed moves fully planted across decks, pavers and concrete: to the warm wall in winter, into the shade in a heatwave.

FAQs
What do I fill it with?
Quality potting mix straight into the tub. No base layers or crushed rock needed. In our South East Queensland delivery area we can deliver it filled and ready to plant.
Will it roll when it is full of potting mix and plants?
Yes. The braked castors carry the bed fully planted across decks, pavers, concrete and other hard, level surfaces: roll it to the warm wall in winter, into the shade in a heatwave, even out into the rain for a free watering. Put the brakes on once it is where you want it.
Which planting depth do I need?
23cm is the economical pick for herbs, flowers, lettuce and other shallow-rooted plants (water daily). 35cm suits bigger plants like tomatoes and capsicums and holds moisture longer. 41cm is for deep roots: potatoes, root veggies, even dwarf fruit trees. On the 50cm planter box on wheels, the 41cm tub needs the full-length legs, so that box sits about 63cm high; the 23 and 35cm tubs stay at 50cm.
Will the timber rot or attract termites?
It is arsenic-free MCA treated hoop pine, built to resist both. Potting mix goes into the recycled plastic tub, so the timber underneath stays dry, and on castors the legs never sit on wet ground.
Do the wheels come with the kit, and do I have to assemble it?
In our South East Queensland delivery area we deliver it fully assembled, castors on, ready to fill and plant. Everywhere else it ships as a part-assembled kit: the castors, every screw and bolt, our tools pack and a 13mm spanner are in the box, you bring a drill and a mallet, and most people are done in about 45 minutes including the wheels. Each kit page has a "See every part" view showing exactly what arrives built.
