The sun-follower, boxed for the courier — our second most popular design as a kit.
Same formula that made the wheeled bed a favourite: waist-high 80 cm planting on braked castors — a fully portable raised garden bed that moves to the warm wall in winter, into shade in a heatwave, and out into the rain for a free watering. At 157 cm it carries a proper crop at standing height.
The kit arrives around 80% pre-assembled with pre-drilled bolt holes for first-go alignment. Tools in the box; about 45 minutes including the wheels, one power drill required.
Fill the recycled plastic tub, plant the same day, and the timber stays dry above the castors.
Made in Queensland, shipped to any Australian address. Pick your tub depth above and let it roam.

What do I fill it with?
Quality potting mix straight into the tub. No base layers or crushed rock needed. Capacity: 23cm Depth = 110 litres, 35cm Depth = 220 litres, 41cm Depth 270 litres. Full step-by-step: how to fill your raised garden bed.
How deep should your garden bed be?
23 cm is the budget pick, ideal for herbs, flowers, lettuce and other shallow-rooted plants (it dries out quickest, so it likes part shade or regular watering). 35 cm is the sweet spot most customers choose: it handles tomatoes, capsicums and most veggies while holding moisture well. 41 cm suits root veg like carrots and potatoes, plus potted citrus. It holds moisture best and is the heaviest when full.
Can I move it once it’s set up?
Yes. It rolls on heavy-duty outdoor castors (280 kg combined capacity, 400 kg on the 41 cm-deep LARGE): one fixed pair, one 360° swivel pair with brakes. Best on hard, flat surfaces like decks, pavers and concrete.
Will my deck or balcony get wet underneath?
The tub has drainage holes in the base, so water drains out underneath. On a deck or balcony, add the Drainage Capture kit: it channels overflow away or straight into a watering can.
Will the timber rot or attract termites?
It’s arsenic-free MCA treated hoop pine, built to resist both. If it’s going on grass or bare ground, we recommend a paver or our protective feet under each leg to break the moisture and termite highway. Full guide: Care & Maintenance.
How often will I need to water?
Shallower tubs (23 cm) dry out faster in full sun; 35–41 cm hold moisture longer. The drip watering kit with timer makes it set-and-forget.

I bought four, and I’m super happy with them. They arrived much quicker than I thought they would, and they were all packaged carefully by someone who obviously cared a lot about their product. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, I had help from my dad and we put all four together in one afternoon. I bought them with the drainage capture, which was really cleverly designed, and they look beautiful. I’m...
