Dwarf citrus and small fruit trees are hungry for sunlight, and a balcony only gets so much. This 81 cm planter rolls on braked castors, so the tree moves with the light through the day and the seasons — an easy way to stretch the growing season in a small space.

Knee-high at 50 cm with the deep 41 cm tub option for proper root room, it doubles happily as a mobile potato box or herb garden.

The recycled plastic tub takes the potting mix and keeps the timber dry — fill it and plant the same day.

What do I fill it with?
Quality potting mix straight into the tub — no base layers or crushed rock needed. Capacity: 23cm Depth = 55 litres, 35cm Depth = 110 litres, 41cm Depth 135 litres. How deep should your garden bed be?
23 cm is the budget pick — ideal for herbs, flowers, lettuce and other shallow-rooted plants (it dries out quickest, so it likes part shade or regular watering). 35 cm is the sweet spot most customers choose — handles tomatoes, capsicums and most veggies while holding moisture well. 41 cm suits root veg like carrots and potatoes, plus potted citrus — best moisture retention, heaviest when full.

Can I move it once it’s set up?
Yes — it rolls on heavy-duty outdoor castors (280 kg combined capacity, 400 kg on the 41 cm-deep LARGE): one fixed pair, one 360° swivel pair with brakes. Best on hard, flat surfaces like decks, pavers and concrete.

Will my deck or balcony get wet underneath?
The tub drains through 12 mm holes at every corrugation. On a deck or balcony, add the Drainage Capture kit — it channels overflow away or straight into a watering can.

Will the timber rot or attract termites?
It’s arsenic-free MCA-treated pine — built to resist both. If it’s going on grass or soil, we recommend a paver or our protective feet under each leg to break the moisture and termite highway. Full guide: Care & Maintenance.

How often will I need to water?
Shallower tubs (23 cm) dry out faster in full sun; 35–41 cm hold moisture longer. The drip watering kit with timer makes it set-and-forget.
