Our compact planter boxes are crafted to enhance your gardening experience convenient knee-high 50cm.
The compact 50cm-high planter box, and in particular the 41cm deep tub, is ideal for growing dwarf fruit trees and serving as a potato box. Its depth provides ample room for root growth, making it a popular choice for gardeners looking to cultivate small fruit trees and hearty root vegetables in compact spaces. Perfect for balconies, patios, and small garden areas.
Our flat-packed kits are designed for easy assembly, arriving mostly pre-assembled for quick setup while still compact for shipping. Key parts like panels and frames come pre-fitted, with pre-drilled bolt holes to ensure perfect alignment. We provide necessary tools—just bring a drill. Most assemblies take around 30 minutes, plus a bit more if adding accessories, making it manageable even for DIY beginners. For a clear overview of each component and how it fits together, see the images in our gallery.
- Length: 50cm
- Width: 60cm
- Height: 23cm
Choose from 3 available tub depths to customise your raised garden bed to your gardening needs.
23cm Deep | An economical choice, this shallow depth is perfect for growing herbs, flowers, and smaller plants. This size requires regular watering, especially in sunny locations, making it best suited for areas with partial shade, such as courtyards and balconies. |
35cm Deep | With additional depth, this option is ideal for larger plants like tomatoes, capsicums. It retains moisture better than the 23cm depth, meaning less frequent watering, which is a practical advantage in full-sun areas. This depth strikes a balance between capacity and ease of mobility, offering substantial growing space without becoming too heavy. |
41cm Deep | For gardeners looking for maximum capacity, this depth is well-suited for root vegetables such as carrots and potatoes and also larger plants, including potted citrus trees. It offers excellent moisture retention, reducing the frequency of watering. However, the increased weight at this depth makes it heavier and less mobile, so it’s best for those planning to keep the garden bed in a single location. |
